New Cemetery Sign

The Historical Commission worked with the County Road Department to redesign and replace the Cedar Hill Cemetery sign over the entrance after a new wrought iron fence and rock pillars were built in 2009.

Courthouse Renovation

The County Judge Fred Deaton and the Commissioners Court, working with the Texas Historical Commission have begun a restoration and renovation of the Crockett County Courthouse.  Architect Henry Schmidt from San Angelo and Templeton Construction are restoring the building from top to bottom and renovating the plumbling and utilities.  It is looking great, so check back often to see the progress.
