John Michael "Mike" Ledoux

Mike Ledoux, 64, passed away and entered eternal rest Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer since 2004. Mike served in the United
States Air Force Security Service in the 1960s during the Vietnam War. He was honorable discharged in December 1964 after spending his service in Alaska
and Peshawar, Pakistan. Mike was a long-time truck owner/operator based in Houston. He also worked in the oil field, at Ozona Butane, and was an Independent Insurance Agent for many years. He worked with his brother Raymond, in Louisiana at Offshore Supply Ship Inc. as engineer and
tankerman.

In 2006, after a successful Stem Cell Transplant to treat Multiple Myeloma cancer, Mike bought a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle with a trike kit and hit the road again. He joined the Permian Basin Desert Wings Road Riders Assoc, and he enjoyed the freedom and fellowship of the open road on his bike. Mike loved horses, camping, hunting, NASCAR, and keeping in touch on his computer. He was a Master Mason and Past Master of Ozona Lodge 747, a member of Yorkrite, Scottish Rite, and Suez Shrine Temple, and Past President and founder of Suez Normads R. V. Unit.

John Ledoux was bom, in Opelousas, LA on Sept. 4, 1943 to Isabelle DeRosier
Ledoux and Ewell Joseph Ledoux. Mike married Louise on July 26, 1980 in New Orleans, La. They moVed 1o West Texas from Houston and made their
home in Ozona. Mike’s loving family includes his wife of 27 years, Louise
Perner Ledoux, her parents Polly and Sam Pemer, two sisters-in-law, Luann Pierce, Lucy Bird and their families, all of Ozona; three brothers, Walter
Lee Ledoux of Lake Charles, Troy Davis Williams La., Raymond Keith Ledoux and his wife Natalie of Hahnville, La., Clarence Eugene Ledoux and his wife Glenna of Baton Rouge, La. and one sister, Barbara Lynn Rion and her husband
Kenneth of Lake Charles, La., and their families with numerous nieces and nephews. Mike had three children of a previous marriage, Lynette Ledoux of
Louisville, Ky., Latricia Ledoux of Lebanon, Tenn. and John Michael Ledoux Jr., Walker, La. and their families.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 10 a.m. conducted by Dr. John Fluth at the Ozona United Methodist Church followed by a Masonic
graveside service at Cedar Hill Cemetery with an escort provided by the Permian Basin Desert Wings Road Riders. A noon lunch will be provided at the
Ozona. United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall afterwards for family and friends.

Pallbearers will be members of the Ozona, Sonora and Eldorado Masonic Lodges, and honorary pallbearers will be John Chip Rion, Paul Perner,
Joey Pierce and Rick Bird, Gus Robertson and Guy Hester. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Crockett County Public Library, P.O. Box
3030, Ozona, Texas 76943, or to a favorite charity.
