Jose M. Martinez, 86, died Saturday Sept. 22, 2007 in the Crockett County Care Center. Memorial service was Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Arrangements by Preddy Funeral Home.

Mr. Martinez was bom April 21, 1921 in Ozona. He was a member of the Catholic Church and a World War II Veteran. Survivors include his wife 
of 35 years, Rita Martinez; two daughters, Anna Martinez, of Ozona and Mercedes Hernandez and husband Jesse of San Angelo; three sons, Mario C. Martinez and wife Margie of San Angelo, Martin Martinez of San Angelo
and Jose Martinez Jr. of San Angelo; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
