OZONA Fernanda Diaz Arredondo passed away on Monday, April 18, 2011, at the age of 87. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Templo Siloe Assembly of God Church with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Preddy Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose M. Arredondo; her son, Jesus D. Arredondo; two sisters, Cristina D. Sosa and Maria Diaz; and a brother, Damacio Diaz. Survivors include five daughters, Guadalupe A. Rodriguez and husband Richard of San Juan, Texas, Rosa A. Montes of Ozona, Anna A. Yruegas and husband Albino of Ozona, Irene D. Arredondo of Round Rock and Amelia A. Serrill and husband David of Lovington, N.M.; one son, Armando D. Arredondo and wife Maria of Ozona; daughter-in-law Irma R. Arredondo of Des Moine, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Richard L. Rodriguez and Jim B. Rodriguez, Steven G. Montes, David Arredondo, Johnny Arredondo and Jonatan Arredondo.
