OZONA Raymundo "Ray" Ramos Sr., 49, of San Angelo, Texas, went peacefully to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 26, 2011, at his lake house. He was born on Oct. 4, 1961, to Eloise and Everardo Ramos of Ozona, Texas. He was employed by Anadarko Petroleum Corporation for 17 years. He was preceded in his death by his parents; and brother Humberto Ramos. His sister, Dorina Sanchez, of Arlington, Texas, survives him along with his brothers, Charlie Ramos and Eddie Ramos, both of Ozona. Ray leaves behind his high school sweetheart of 39 years, Wilda Ramos. He also leaves behind one son, Ray Ramos Jr., wife Misty Ramos; three daughters, Britney Ramirez and husband Adam Ramirez, Rebecca Ramos, Candice Martinez; and one special cousin that was like his own, Rikki Chavez. "Papo" will be missed by his grandkids, Andruw Ramos, Adelin Ramirez, Amaya Martinez and one on the way, Elyssa Ramos. In his spare time or when it was "5 o'clock" on his watch, he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, fishing, boating out on the lake and being the family's "handy man." Preddy Funeral Home is providing services, which will be held on at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Our Lady Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ozona. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Preddy Funeral Home.
