Ezequiel Martinez

Zeke V. Martinez passed away on August 5, 2025. Born on August 12, 1965 in Ozona, Texas. The last of six children born to Luis C. Martinez and Teresa V. Martinez. He was preceded in death by his parents, older brother Melecio Martinez, and nephew Aaron Espino. He is survived by: his siblings, Luis Andres Martinez, Leonardo Martinez (Susie) , Alicia Martinez, and Michelle Medley (Bill); His daughter Devon Christine Martinez-Rector, his son in law Justin Rector and his Grandchildren Zelda Jules Nicole Rector and Harper Andrew Scott Rector;  His 14 Nieces and Nephews; 42 Grand Nieces and Nephews; and 8 Great Grand Nieces and Nephews. He was a pillar of his community and family, he firmly believed that it took a village to be whole. He was an animal lover and is survived by 3 special dogs. He will be sorely missed by all and not just in Ozona, TX.
